What kind of hardware you can run with XephStratus?

Any kind you need. We use open source solutions offer a robust and broad support. This translates into high reliability and availability of resources 24 / 7. We provide highly redundant systems at multiple levels.

Can I have root access to servers?

Yes, XephStratus provides administrative access to servers in the same way as dedicated hardware. Our customers can modify their instances in a smooth way, control them completely, scale their resources for periods of time according to the use they receive. That difference is fundamental, a scale to suit your needs involves cost savings and the assurance that the resources provided will be up to your demand.

Can I group my servers?

Yes, the servers can be grouped, and all servers can be easily seen in a database or a specific project with a mouse click or by a call to the API.

Grouped actions allow whole groups to start or stop with a single mouse click or a call to the API and are a great way to keep the track of the resource's usage. You can divide them by project or type of server.

Can I create and customize my own servers?

Yes, our customers have the option to deploy servers with pre-built templates, or can implement a blank server and build them as they wish. With this last option, they can install any operating system by mounting the ISO.

Can I use custom kernels of Linux and other individual specifications?

Yes, absolutely, the operating system and software used on our servers is fully controlled by users. XephStratus supports a wide range of operating systems ranging from Windows to Ubuntu LTS Server 2008.

Are my servers deleted if they turn off?

No, all our servers are persistent and will appear in your account. Furthermore, units mounted on that server will remain associated with it. Partnerships static IP address or VLAN associated with the server, are also persistent.

Stop servers do not occupate CPU, RAM or bandwidth, so our customers pay only for what they use.

Will my information be removed if a server goes off?

No, the data are persistent. The units remain in the drive bay until you specifically remove them. Only if our customers want, they can delete data easily.

Can I send emails from my server?
